Painting of Maria Luisa of Matthew Venturini is realistic for the simple pleasure of recreating moments of reality, textures of reality, emotions of reality, immersion in the colors of reality. Very far from the hyper-realism, which is very close to realism abstract in which reality is constructed on the basis of spots, on the basis of colors.
Born in Mexico City. He studied History with a minor in Art at the UNAM getting Honorable Mention. He completed graduate studies in Art History at the University of California in Berkeley, USA.
In an oversight really enjoyed, studied a master's degree in Economics at the UNAM, also with Honors, even though she always knew that her passion was painting.
Without patience to go to a training school, studies, investigates and learns of the great masters, in particular that of Velázquez, who copy and crumbles. Possibly by his training as a historian, his specialty, and a greater joy is the portrait.
Even though any exercise with a brush in the hand is equally rewarding. His paintings are in different formats, mainly in oil on canvas, even as it has also done etchings, and silkscreens.
Has held exhibitions both in Mexico and abroad. The different themes in his paintings are expressions of these exposures.
